Considering this is one of the few remaining Dodge Ramchargers on the roads, it might be MK's Ram once it's 25 years or older.

Just to show you what we do with trucks here in Mexico: We actually use them as tools, thus this Ramcharger is quite beat up.

No fancy BRO mods, this truck was meant for work and goddammit it’s gonna be used till death.

To paraphrase a line I read somewhere: Trucks were once used as tools, now they are (too often) used by tools.

Yup. tools break eventually and you must change them

Unless you’re up north or have more money than brains, trucks here are still tools of the job and will be used by men and women that actually have places to go, people to see.

Someone illegally imported one when I was attending high school in Vegas...or their parents were in the states under green cards. It was that beautiful blue metallic too.

Nice....

Last time I saw an illegal import it was a Wisconsin f-150 yesterday on the highway, I even checked and it didn’t have the special temp import permit.
A friend of mine also ran a california bmw here, but they sold it.

How? I do not know.

There are still plenty of genuine working trucks in the US too, but the bro demographic hasn’t helped them. There are also a lot of suburbanites who use them as commuters, justifying it it with a yearly trip to IKEA and bi-yearly trip to Home Depot.

I see them all the time living in San Diego, along with occasional Renaults, SEATs and Ford Lobos (F150s).

With all the people coming up from Mexico visiting and shopping, we get to see quite a few “International” versions cars a lot of states don’t see, except for probably Texas.

From my experience, the Mexican car market is similar to the Philippines, a mixture of small fuel efficient cars typically you see in Europe, along with large trucks and SUVs you typically only see in North America or the middle east.

I’d think that in Mexico we don’t get many of the Asian cars that the Philipines get.

Otherwize, its a good assertion, in such a polarized country of rich and poor its common to see such great many types of cars that would make little sense elsewhere.

Yes, that’s definitely true regarding brands. Though I was referring to the specific types of cars, from small subcompacts with small motors all the way up to big V8 engined trucks/suvs.
